Having some experience on the road, the guild member is now apprenticed to a trader in one of the following locations: Specularum, Marilenev, Vorloi, Dmitrov, Sulescu, Fort Doom, Threshold, Highforge, Penhaligon, or Kelvin.

Salary: 2 royals per month after guild fees.

The guild member is now given a cart and allowed to make their own way. They are expected to give over 25% of their earnings to the guild.
As apprentice peddler.

Salary: 5 royals per month.
Equipment: Horse and Wagon, mattress and blankets, 4 kegs of common goods (decided upon by the character: cooking gear, five large weapons, 10 small weapons, 50 arrows or bolts, tools, fabric).
Cost of Journeyman Peddler: 14 HP.
Possible Exits: Leave the profession, continue on to Journeyman Trader, continue on to Master Peddler, remain as a journeyman peddler.
The guild member is now allowed to set up a shop in one of the following locations: Specularum, Marilenev, Vorloi, Dmitrov, Sulescu, Fort Doom, Threshold, Highforge, Penhaligon, or Kelvin.
As apprentice trader.

Salary: 6 royals per month.
Equipment: Small shop.
Cost: 14 HP.
Possible Exits: Leave the profession, continue on to Master Peddler, continue on to Master Trader, remain as a journeyman trader.
Now the guild member has mastered a profession. Other peddlers report to the guild member as their superior.
As Journeyman Peddler
Condition Network of Peddlers (d): This skill allows the master peddler to have a loyal network of peddlers across Karameikos. The members of this network will do favors on behalf of the master.
Salary: 10 royals per month.
Cost: 20 HP.
Possible Exits: Leave the profession, continue on to Master Trader, continue on to Apprentice Merchant, remain a Master Peddler.
The guild member has been given control of several traders within one of the following locations: Specularum, Marilenev, Vorloi, Dmitrov, Sulescu, Fort Doom, Threshold, Highforge, Penhaligon, or Kelvin.
As Journeyman Trader.
Condition Network of Traders (d): This skill allows the master trader to have a loyal network of traders across their local area. The members of this network will do favors on behalf of the master.
Salary: 10 royals per month.
Cost: 19 HP.
Possible Exits: Leave the profession, continue on to Apprentice Merchant, remain a Master Trader.
The guild member has been accepted into the Inner Circle of the Guild.

Possible Exits: Leave the profession, continue on to Journeyman Merchant, remain an apprentice merchant.
The guild member can now operate as an independent merchant, tithing 15% to the guild.
As Apprentice Merchant
Condition Network of Contacts (e): The guild member has enough contacts to learn of secret doings that might have an effect on business. These contacts will perform favors for the guild member upon request/payment.
Salary: 15 royals per month.
Equipment: House in Specularum or Kelvin.
Cost: 26 HP.
The guild member has attained the highest status in the organization.
As Journeyman Merchant
Condition Political Power (e): The master has the power to cause some changes in rules or political decisions.
Condition Personal Wealth (e): The master has so much money that they can just afford things..
Cost: 30 HP.
