Extreme Psychic Powers
Introduction
These are active and do not require the cooperation
of the target.
Awaken Power
Must have the power Psychic Projection to
acquire this power of thought. This is the
ability to cause psychic powers to suddenly
appear in the target item or individual.
The level of success is split between the
effect (this is treated as though it were
HP used to acquire the psychic power), and
the duration of the power. If the target
is an item, or an individual with no PY,
then there will be a -20 modifier (this will
raise the PY to 1, or grant an item a PY
of 1). The individual or item may then gain
powers at their PY. This power may be acquired
by spending History Points and by spending
at least a year (less the PY of the character
in days) in daily meditation (with at least
eight hours of meditation daily). This is
active and incurs an extreme power detriment.

- The psychic can awaken a power in more than
one object at a time.
- The psychic can awaken a power in more than

Cause Fear
Must have the power Psychic Projection to
acquire this power of emotion. This is the
ability to generate fear in the target(s).
The level of success is split between the
effect, the range of to the target, and any
defenses that must be overcome. This power
may be acquired by spending History Points
and by spending at least a year (less the
PY of the character in days) in daily meditation
(with at least eight hours of meditation
daily). This is active and incurs an extreme
power detriment. Here is an example of a
special for Cause Fear:

Cause Harm
Must have the power Psychic Projection to
acquire this power of thought. This is the
ability to generate wounds in the target(s).
The level of success is split between the
effect, the range of to the target, and any
defenses that must be overcome. This power
may be acquired by spending History Points
and by spending at least a year (less the
PY of the character in days) in daily meditation
(with at least eight hours of meditation
daily). This is active and incurs an extreme
power detriment. Here is an example of a
special for Cause Harm:

Cause Madness
Must have the power Psychic Projection to
acquire this power of thought. This is the
ability to generate insanity in the target(s).
The level of success is split between the
effect (the number of History Points spent
on the condition Insanity (d)), the range
of to the target, and any defenses that must
be overcome. This power may be acquired by
spending History Points and by spending at
least a year (less the PY of the character
in days) in daily meditation (with at least
eight hours of meditation daily). This is
active and incurs an extreme power detriment.

Madness:
- The psychic can choose the form of insanity.

Clairvoyance
Must have the power Sensitivity to acquire
this power of perception. This skill allows
the psychic to perceive something specific.
The level of success is split between range
to the target, the duration of the effect,
and level of protection that must be overcome.
This power may be acquired by spending History
Points and by spending at least six months
(less the PY of the character in days) in
daily meditation (with at least eight hours
of meditation daily). This is active and
incurs an extreme power detriment. Here is
an example of a special for Clairvoyance:
- The psychic will know where what they are
perceiving is with respect to the location
of the psychic.
- +1 when using Sensitivity as a modifier (this
is a researched special and may not be acquired
through a level increase).
- Improve the difficulty classification by

- Magical effect for a detriment, (this is
a level-of-five special and the character
must have an MP of 1 or more). When using

ability to communicate with those being observed),

Confusion
Must have the power Psychic Projection to
acquire this power of thought. This is the
ability to generate indecision in the target(s).
The level of success is split between the
effect, the range of to the target, and any
defenses that must be overcome. This power
may be acquired by spending History Points
and by spending at least a year (less the
PY of the character in days) in daily meditation
(with at least eight hours of meditation
daily). This is active and incurs an extreme
power detriment. Here is an example of a

this power of thought. This skill allows
the psychic to know something specific. The
level of success is split between range to
the target, the duration of the effect, and
level of protection that must be overcome.
This power may be acquired by spending History
Points and by spending at least six months
(less the PY of the character in days) in
daily meditation (with at least eight hours
of meditation daily). This is active and
incurs an extreme power detriment. Here is
an example of a special for ESP:
- The psychic can make an additional split
in the effect to generate HP for a knowledge
skill.
- The psychic can generate a Preemptive knowledge
effect that acts as a favorable modifier
to all ability attempts within the duration
of the effect.

- Magical effect for a detriment, (this is

Must have the power Psychic Projection to
acquire this power of thought. This is the
ability to prevent the target(s) form moving.
The level of success is split between the
effect, the range of to the target, and any
defenses that must be overcome. This power
may be acquired by spending History Points
and by spending at least a year (less the
PY of the character in days) in daily meditation
(with at least eight hours of meditation
daily). This is active and incurs an extreme

Must have the power Psychic Projection to
acquire this power of thought. This is the
ability to place psychic powers within a
physical item. The level of success is split
between the effect (this is treated as though
it were HP used to acquire the psychic power),
and the duration of the power. This power
may be acquired by spending History Points
and by spending at least a year (less the
PY of the character in days) in daily meditation
(with at least eight hours of meditation
daily). This is active and incurs an extreme

Medium
Must have the power Sensitivity to acquire
this power of thought. This is the ability
to allow spirits, ghosts, or psychic beings
to possess the psychic. The level of success
is split between the effect, the range of
the projection, the duration of the projection,
and any defenses that must be overcome. This
power may be acquired by spending History
Points and by spending at least a year (less
the PY of the character in days) in daily
meditation (with at least eight hours of
meditation daily). This is active and incurs
an extreme power detriment. Here is an example

the psychic to become invisible. The level
of success is split between the effect, and
the duration of the invisibility. This power
may be acquired by spending History Points

PY of the character in days) in daily meditation
(with at least eight hours of meditation
daily). This is active and incurs an extreme
power detriment. Here is an example of a

target, how far into the future the psychic
can perceive, and level of protection that
must be overcome. This power may be acquired
by spending History Points and by spending
at least a year (less the PY of the character
in days) in daily meditation (with at least
eight hours of meditation daily). This is
active and incurs an extreme power detriment.
Here is an example of a special for Precognition:
- The psychic can generate a Preemptive knowledge
effect that acts as a favorable modifier
to all ability attempts within the duration
of the effect.
- +1 when using Sensitivity as a modifier (this
is a researched special and may not be acquired
through a level increase).
- The psychic can sense the presence of the
Guardians of Time, terrible spiritual forces
that work to prevent any manipulation of
time (this is a level-of-five special).

required. The level of success is split between

spending at least a year (less the PY of
the character in days) in daily meditation
(with at least eight hours of meditation
